Experienced Latrobe girls soccer team makes an early statement

The Latrobe girls soccer team had last year's WPIAL playoffs in mind when the Wildcats faced Upper St. Clair in their opening match of the 2021 season Saturday at the West Mifflin Tournament.

"We qualified for the WPIAL playoffs last year," coach Jamie Morrison recalled. "It was the first time in five or six years that we qualified. We faced Upper St. Clair in the first round and lost 6-1."
